It was built  by J S Hovnanian from 2007 through 2020. Montebello consists of 348 single family homes with a distinct European exterior design style and a 14,000 square foot Clubhouse & Spa.

The Clubhouse and Spa at Montebello are the social hub of the community. Indoors you can utilize the Fitness Spa, Indoor Pool, Massage Room and Lounge. Or socialize in the Grand Salon, Billiards Lounge or Game Parlor. The amenities extend outdoors to include an outdoor pool, covered veranda, bocce courts, horseshoe pits, and putting green. There are walking and biking trails too.
