Our story starts in Heathergate (the 55+ apartment rental in Langhorne). That is where our couple met – Dave and Mary. As rent continued to rise in Heathergate they decided to purchase a home and put their money back in an investment. We met while they were looking for a realtor who understood their needs as seniors. They mainly wanted main floor living. We looked at 55+ and 1st floor condos.
Dave and Mary settled on a completely remodeled (non 55+) 1st floor condo in Warrington. It was gorgeous! Then the pandemic hit and they became isolated and missed their friends. They missed the socialization and camaraderie of a 55+. So they called me again and told me what they needed.
I sat down with them and reviewed their 55+ options based on their criteria. They wanted an active, friendly community, did not want to spend more than 450k and when it came to location they wanted to be between Langhorne and Warrington.
They decided on Flowers Mill! It is the perfect home for them and community! I stopped over to visit and to see their updates. They remodeled kitchen and added a few touches. The best part of the story is to see how much happier they are.
Dave and Mary have been in the home a little under a month. Everyone has been overwhelming friendly to them. 3 neighbors delivered baked goods. They have gone to several dinner parties and attended various activities at the clubhouse from a magic show to bingo.
