Tips to Sell Your Home in the Fall
Tips to Sell Your Home in the Fall:
As an expert realtor, I know that Fall can be a great time to sell! There is less competition when selling and people aren’t on vacation. Here are some easy tips to help you sell quickly!
It’s much easier to sell in the fall than in December and January, when bad weather, holiday schedules, and travel plans limit the availability of buyers.
Photograph the property ASAP:
Pictures are your number one marketing tool. Have professional real estate pictures taken as soon as possible. The earlier in the fall they’re taken, the better the natural light will be and the nicer your outdoor space will look. Even better, if you know you’ll be selling next fall, take your pictures ahead of time, in picture-perfect spring.
Hire a professional:
Simply, hire a real estate agent who knows what they’re doing. Do research online, read reviews online and interview agents. Hire an agent with outside the box marketing ideas who will actively promote your property.
What makes your home, your neighborhood, or your area unique? Why did you buy your home? What do you love about it?
Price your property to sell:
Use neighborhood comparable homes and your agent’s expertise to find the right listing price for your home, keeping in mind that your pricing strategy may vary in the fall versus the spring. Your pricing strategy is key to netting the most!
