What a heart warming story!

As many of you know, I am one of the five founding members of a local charity…. The Queen Bees.  We help local people who are down on their luck and need help to get back on their feet.

We first met our recipient in 2023.   We were able to help her furnish her apartment and buy groceries.  She was escaping an abusive relationship with her 3 boys.  She began working two jobs and was able to support her and the three boys.  Fast forward to 2025 and her rent was increased and her hours were cut at her 2nd job.  She began to fall behind on her rent.    She prayed to God for a solution and then she remembered how The Queen Bees had helped her in 2023.

On of the best parts of the story was how well the boys are doing.  She told us that:  Her oldest son just graduated with his degree in computer engineering from the university of Delaware . He is doing very well and he has an internship this summer. The two other boys are still at home.  The middle son just completed his first year at temple and her youngest son will be completing his last year of middle school.

She is a Perfect example of who The Queen Bees want to help!  She is a brave person that is striving to make it and just needs a little help.

The Queen Bees were happy to pay her apartment complex  two months of rent.
