Because the average agent doesn’t sell that many homes, their negotiating skills aren’t always what you’d like. For example, the average list to sell price ratio in our area is 96.2%. In other words, if the home was priced at $100,000, they’d negotiate the deal to $96,200, or 96.2% of list price.
As you can see, because of my experience, on average I net you 99.1% of list price. In other words, for the same house, we average $99,100 at closing, or 99.1% of list price.
