Your Local 55+ Market Update

As I am sure you know, the 55+ housing market is hot!  Many of the communities have buyers waiting to get in and they will pay a premium just to get a home in the development of their dreams.  Last week we had a home come on the market in The Village of Northampton which only has 49 townhouses.  It is a small community but it highly desirable because of the price range and lower taxes.  The home needs updating but there was turn style activity at the home.  3 couples there at once.  A similar situation happened last week in The Villages of Flowers Mill which is highly sought after because of the price range and level of amenities offered.  Two homes popped on the market under $400,000 which is becoming RARE in Flowers Mill. Again, first day on the market and there are 3-4 couples there at the same time looking at the house.  If you are interested in a community make sure you let me know and I can put you on my waiting list so as soon as one comes on the market I can notify you.  55+ housing is a great investment in our area, so if you are thinking about purchasing in a few years be prepared to see prices continue to rise.  The demand for 55+ homes far exceeds the inventory we have.
