Local Real Estate Market Update - September 2017School is back in session and the number one question I am getting on listing appointments is: Will the number of buyer’s looking remain high since consumers had to already move for their children to be registered in a school? The answer is YES! I say it every month, Inventory is low. Buyer traffic continues to be higher than a year ago, the typical listing has gone under contract within a month since April, and inventory at the end of July was 9.0 percent lower than last July. So the fall and winter of this year will be a great time to sell! We anticipate that buyer demand will remain high just as it did last fall and winter.
